Founded in 2000 by Dr. Julie Bartholomew, M.D., the business of IMX Cosmetics is to use its creativity, experience, and proprietary technology to harness the vast and growing worldwide market for cosmetics and toiletries by presenting IMX products and innovations through all sales channels, traditional and digital, and by licensing IMX technology to others.

JULIE ROBIN BARTHOLOMEW, M.D. – FOUNDER

Julie Robin Bartholomew, M.D. is an accomplished entrepreneur, inventor, and medical doctor. She initially conceived of a process for on-site, automated customization of cosmetics involving RFID solutions, and went on to successfully patent the process throughout the world.

Dr. Bartholomew is internationally recognized for her achievements with IMX and has been a featured speaker at the HBA Expo, the industries definitive event for the Health and Beauty Industry, speaking to her vision of the future of mass customization in the Health and Beauty World with innovation and technology; and RFID Live, one of the worlds largest RFID conferences, speaking to IMX’s unique application of RFID, cosmetic purchasing and data gathering for her Clients while effortlessly experiencing the IMX customization process.

Dr. Bartholomew earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on Sociology and Psychology from Michigan State University. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. Dr. Bartholomew then went on to earn her Medical Degree from Wayne State University. She is currently a member of CEW and Spark.
